This is the first ornament in the only official Star Wars Hallmark Keepsake Series. The series started in 1997 and still continues with Emperor Palpatine, the 12th ornament in the Star Wars Series. All of the ornaments in this series display characters from Star Wars. However, each year there have been several Star Wars ornaments released that are not part of an official series. They feature not just individual characters, but also fighters and ships and images from the most important scenes.
